The first Kenmore product was a sewing machine built in 1913. Today Sears’ Kenmore brand appliances are produced by a variety of different manufacturers. Dishwashers, washers and dryers, in-sink disposals, fridges, freezers, cooktops, wall ovens, and more are manufactured and then branded Kenmore. Most of the laundry appliances and dishwashers are made by Whirlpool and Frigidaire. The in-sink disposals are made by InSinkErator, and many of the stove/ranges are manufactured by GE. Kenmore also has a higher end product line known as Elite.
Kenmore appliances are a very popular midrange choice for Canadians. Appliance parts are always in good supply. For further information about their products, visit Kenmore's website or Consumer Report online.
